Ask an Owner

Ask an Owner is an open source Java technology stack deployed on-premise facilitating the interactions with the Toyota brands, dealerships, service locations, their customers and the broader community.

AtomRain worked closely key stakeholders from initial inception throughout the project to ensure it was meeting business, product and technical objectives. Direct collaboration with the Toyota architects and the Consumer Portal Delivery group during enterprise software architecture definition and design process as well as application deployment through dev, staging and production environments was key to project success.

Performed enterprise software architecture and software engineering to

• implement a high performance RESTful service layer with abstract social services that can be used by multiple Toyota Motor Sales applications with a custom facade layer for Ask an Owner that provided domain specific services for the client applications to utilize.
• performance tune the RESTful services under load to run under 1 second.
