As part of the IRS DAIS BPA, AtomRain has been selected to contribute to the IRS’s Emerging Compliance Issues (ECI) project — an initiative focused on rapidly identifying and responding to complex fraud and non-compliance risks.
Our role will center around delivering graph analytics and AI-powered tools to support investigative staff responsible for responding to the rapidly evolving compliance landscape. We have been asked to apply advanced mathematical techniques, including graph theory and custom AI models, to assist IRS analysts in detecting complex fraud patterns, and will deploy a web-based interface to make those insights accessible and actionable through intuitive visualizations.
Working closely with data scientists and domain experts, we will enable the IRS to respond to emerging threats with speed, clarity, and data-backed confidence.
“At AtomRain, we see graph and AI innovation as a way to strengthen how federal teams navigate mission complexity,” said Benjamin Nussbaum, Principal AI Lead at AtomRain. “We’re focused on building capabilities that empower the human workers at agencies to act with clarity and advance their modernization goals.”
